Olympus PCF-H190L EVIS EXERA III
The Olympus PCF-H190L/I is a slim, high-definition colonovideoscope in the EVIS EXERA III 190 series. It has a 170° field of view Narrow Band Imaging (NBI) and variable stiffness. Its smaller insertion tube suits patients who need a thinner scope including pediatric and difficult to intubate cases without giving up HD image quality.
Key features of the Olympus PCF-H190L
- HDTV image quality: The 170° wide angle view supports clear examination of the lower digestive tract from the anus to the ileocecal valve.
- Narrow Band Imaging (NBI): This enhances contrast between mucosa and capillaries to support detailed observation.
- Variable stiffness: The physician adjusts shaft rigidity during the procedure for better scope handling.
- Passive bending: The distal tip conforms to the anatomy of the large intestine, which helps in acute flexures.
- High force transmission: Pushing and twisting movements transfer more directly from handle to tip.
- Slim design: The 11.5 mm insertion tube is thinner than the standard adult CF-H190L (12.8 mm).
- 3.2 mm instrument channel: It is compatible with common endotherapy accessories such as biopsy forceps.
