Princeton Acton SP-2500
The Princeton Acton SP-2500 (SpectraPro-2500i) is a 0.500 m focal length, triple-grating imaging monochromator/spectrograph from Princeton Instruments (formerly Acton Research). Its imaging Czerny Turner optical design and turret of three gratings make it a flexible workhorse for Raman, photoluminescence, fluorescence, emission and absorption spectroscopy, whether you use a single channel detector or a CCD camera.
Key features of the Acton SP-2500
- 500 mm focal length: The mid length design balances resolution, throughput and benchtop footprint.
- Imaging Czerny-Turner optics: Imaging optics support multichannel and spectral-imaging work with array detectors.
- Triple-grating turret: Switch between gratings for different wavelength ranges and resolutions without opening the instrument.
- Configurable variants: SP-2555 (monochromator), SP-2556 (spectrograph) and SP-2558 (monochromator/spectrograph).
- Computer-controlled operation: It supports control through software and LabVIEW or custom programs via RS-232 command level interface.
- Detector compatibility: It pairs with Princeton Instruments CCD, EMCCD, ICCD and InGaAs cameras and with PMT detectors.
